Firstfruit Christian Academy continues to be a value oriented co-educational school poised for excellence whose goal is to mold character on Christian principles.

MISSION

To be a leading educational institution raising a generation based on Godly Christian principles.

The school is established to offer high quality educational services based on Christian values. The aim of the school project therefore is to produce opportunities for young people to benefit from a high standard of education where Christian principles are utilized.

The school is located in Chokwota, Igbo-Etche, Rivers State. The setting is deliberately rural, quiet and conducive for learning while within easy reach of Port Harcourt metropolis. The school is fully fenced and secure.

FIRSTFRUITS CHRISTIAN ACADEMY – The Beginning

The idea of starting a secondary school emerged in 1997 with the goal of establishing a center with boarding facilities for adolescents, grounded in Christian principles.
Initially lacking resources, the proprietress put the idea on hold, considering it a product of her own mind.
In March 2000, a Sister, unaware of the project, prophesied that the proprietress would build a secondary school for mission with boarding facilities.
Despite financial constraints, the proprietress, encouraged by fellow Christians and siblings, acquired land in 2000.
Plans were developed in 2005 for three classroom blocks, science laboratories, home economics, fine arts, library, hostels, staff accommodation, cafeteria, assembly hall, playground, and sports facilities.
Construction began, and as of now, three classroom blocks, a staff quarters block, and a hostel block have been built.
The school, initially a day secondary school, started in September 2011. Later, a primary and nursery section, Keystone Educational Academy, was established.
Both schools, Firstfruits Christian Academy and Keystone Educational Academy, are fully government-approved.
The Boarding House became operational in September 2022
